Next - I've got two pieces of great news: 1) I lost two more lbs. So that brings the total up to 16. The lbs are coming off more slowly than I would like, but at least the numbers on the scale are going down not up. Here's how I see it.: December is coming anyway, I might as well weigh less than more. 2.) I got a second interview this Thursday a.m. at 8:30 at the Holiday Inn on Whitney Avenue in Hamden.

OK, get the smart comments out now. It's a breakfast interview. Why oh why do they have to throw food in the mix? Especially now that I'm on Atkins. I hope they just order coffees so I can get away with just ordering a tea. I suppose if worse comes to worse, I can always order scrambled eggs with cheese and sausage. Now, I can't wear my white suit. Slop that up like it's no one's business. So now I either have to get a new suit or dry clean one of my old ones. ACK ACK ACK. Maybe, I'll say that I can't eat before 10 a.m. because it hurts my stomach? NO! Stupid! Anyway, they like me. They really really like me. My temp agency said that they haven't defined the position yet, so it may be that they'll hire Mom's friend for the production supervisor portion of it. (To tell you the truth, I wasn't looking forward to proofing 4,000 letters to pull out the 4 that needed to be pulled out.) And then they'll have me doing more fundraising stuff. He had mentioned in the interview that his brother did the fundraising side of it. I hate waiting.

Next - YMCA stuff - Last night I worked again from home. I didn't get home until 10 of 6 because of traffic and my car was running on fumes. So by the time I got up there and gassed, it would've been almost 7, so I called in. There wasn't anything in my mailbox. So I told the receptionist that I would be working from home. I finished the big grant, printed it out and realized that I was missing the 2003 budget and the 2002 budget. It needs to be postmarked by Monday, so today I've got to see if the secretary can e-mail or fax it to me. Otherwise, it's up and adam very early tomorrow morning to mail it out.

Next - Weekend Plans - I'm making Purge clean the house. (He doesn't know this yet.) He will be vacuuming and cleaning the kitchen and the dining room before playing his Kingdom Hearts game. Because, we're celebrating his birthday a little early this year on Sunday for my family and I'd like to have Saturday to relax. We want to go see the sequel to Desperado, Once Upon a Time in Mexico. Johnny Depp looks HOT HOT HOT in this movie. I think he's going to outshine Banderas in this flick. But that's because ever since Antonio married Melanie Griffiths, he's just had bad hair. I also would like to see Matchstick Men, but that's probably a rental. There's a couple of Indies that I would like to see: Bend it like Beckman and The Magdelene Sisters, but they're probably rentals as well. I can't WAIT for Kill Bill to come out in October. It looks great. I LOVE Quentin Tarrantino.
