The Impossible Dream

''To dream the impossible dream, to fight the unbeatable foe, to bear with unbearable sorrow, to run where the brave dare not go, to right the unrightable wrong, to love, pure and chaste, from afar; to try when your arms are too weary; to reach the unreachable star. This is my Quest---to follow that star, no matter how hopeless, no matter how far, to fight for the right without question or pause'' (The Impossible Dream - lyrics by Joe Darion, music by Mitch Leigh)

Same weight as Wednesday. I'm a bit bummed, but at least I didn't gain. I want it all to melt off immediately! I was in a foul mood yesterday afternoon after I got home from work. Part of it was that I was tired. Part of it was I was aggravated about Tupperware. My manager is making me feel like I'm not pulling my weight, so since I'm not one of the top performers, she's not going to let me display at the Guilford Fair. It's politics like this that make me want to quit selling Tupperware. It's too bad that I really like it. The money is good too. I made $78 for doing nothing when a netsurfer found my site and decided to have an online party. Cha-ching! But there comes a time when you have to either fish or cut bait. And I've been cutting bait for so long with this, I'm going to give it until the end of December and then quietly become inactive. I've stopped going to the rallies. It's just not worth a two hour round trip drive on my only day off for the week. Too bad it's not closer. I'm also aggravated because I feel that I should be making this work. I see these managers and they're only selling about $1400 a month. That's a party a week. There's no reason why I shouldn't be doing that. With the exception that no one wants to book a party. My Aunt has been wonderfully supportive. She always buys something at my parties, if not attends them. I think that's really nice.
